The Conch Republic Polar Plunge is for those brrr-ave enough to take the challenge! Those “up north” chuckle at us but as all Conchs know (both salt water and fresh water) no one goes in the “bone chilling” low 70’s degree water from Fantasy Fest until late April! It’s the coolest event in Key West ‒ literally ‒ and it’s all for an amazing cause!
Join us at the crack o’ noon on Super Bowl Sunday, February 3rd in front of Salute! on the Beach, 1100 Atlantic Boulevard, Key West. A $25 participation fee includes an official T-Shirt and a Conch Republic flag. To register, call Tanya 305-296-0240 ext. 118.
The Samuel’s House Board of Directors has held its “Women of Integrity and Men of Valor” dinner since 2000 to honor men and women who have given generously to our community through their work and volunteer efforts. The dinner recognizes eleven incredible Key West men and women in different categories each year. All proceeds will benefit the programs of Samuel’s House, offering shelter and support services to women, women with children, men with children and intact families in their time of greatest need, assisting them in becoming self-sufficient.
This year, the dinner will be held on Thursday, March, 28th at 6:00 pm in the Key West Marriott Beachside Hotel ballroom. Dinner tickets are available for $75 each.
For event tickets, or if you’d like to make a monetary donation on behalf of one of the honorees, please call 305-296-0240, ext. 121
